Enjoy this pet-friendly access point to the Mt. Baker recreation. It is walking distance from the North Fork Brewery (an award winning microbrewery and restaurant), 3C Farms (wedding venue), and logging roads on Sumas Mountain for walking and ATVs. It is only 22 miles to Mt. Baker for excellent skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. The area is also well known for amazing day and overnight hiking trails for a variety of skill levels from a 1.4-mile loop just 4 miles away to a 10,000-foot climb up Mt. Baker. The 2-bedroom 1.5-bath space with the living room hide-a-bed sleeps 6. The cozy kitchen has custom cedar countertops, a French-door refrigerator, smooth-top range/oven, microwave, toaster, electric can opener, blender, and seating for six at the oak table. Although there is some noise from SR 542, the property has a large back deck with a propane BBQ and an 8,000-square foot fenced back yard (perfect for dogs) and no other homes within 400 feet. Heat and cool with the ductless AC system or build a fire in the wood stove. Other amenities include wifi, cable TV service, a 42-inch flat-screen TV, a full-size washer/dryer, and oversized carport parking for two vehicles  This wifi equipped, air conditioned, and pet-friendly (2-PETS MAXIMUM, No Exceptions), monitored family vacation property will sleep up to 4 to 6-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, nature viewing, tennis, and golf. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round!

In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to treat this private residence with the utmost respect at all times, as well as to be mindful of neighboring residences, and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitees actions, and would be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately.  Guest seeking party house accommodations are advised to seek such accommodations via a different provider.
