Welcome to Funky Town! Now with A/C, this cute loft bedroom A-frame apartment in Maple Falls is conveniently located to in-town amenities, and offered at a BUDGET price! The main floor features a full kitchen and a full-sized refrigerator / freezer, an apartment sized range / oven, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and toaster, plus a dining area, one full bath, and a generous sized living room area with a large flat screen monitor, and a laundry cubby with a full sized washer / dryer. Ascending the spiral staircase leads to the loft area with one queen sized bed. Don't forget Fido. This pet-friendly (2-PET MAXIMUM, No Exceptions) vacation property will comfortably sleep up to 2-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:

**Wi-Fi service is now available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure, as the service provider is in the process of dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE Wi-Fi SERVICE fails to function correctly.

**This cabin is a monitored family vacation home, not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to always treat this private residence with the utmost respect, as well as to be mindful of neighboring residences and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitee’s actions. They should be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. Guests seeking party house accommodations are advised to seek such accommodations via a different provider.

Cancellation Policy

For regular reservations, if Cancelation is received a minimum of 21 days before our Guest’s scheduled arrival date, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. If Cancelation is received twenty (20) through fifteen (15) days before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, the Advanced Reservation Payment shall be forfeited by the Guest unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld. The remaining balance shall be credited back to the Guest. Guest further acknowledges that, for regular reservations, if Cancelation is received fourteen (14) days or less before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, Guest shall forfeit all rental monies unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received before November 15th, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations beginning on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received on or after November 16th but before December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit the Advance Reservation Payment unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advance Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 1st, if Cancelation is received on or after December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit all rental monies, unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Sixty-Five Dollar ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) Cancelation Fee shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For legal and accounting purposes, the person placing the reservation must be the same as the credit/debit card holder. This person is considered to be the Guest. All other persons involved with the rental occasion are considered the Guest’s invitees. All reservations, cancelation, and damage policies will be discussed with the Guest, not the Guest’s invitees. This policy is in place to ensure your reservation's security and protect against potential fraud.

Deposit Policy

An Advance Reservation Payment equal to 50% of the total cost, including tax, is required to reserve a vacation property. For regular reservations, the remaining balance is due 14 days before the Guest’s scheduled arrival date and is automatically debited to the Guest’s credit/debit card on the scheduled due date. For holiday reservations commencing on December 15th through January 1st, the remaining balance is due in full and automatically debited to our Guest’s credit/debit card on December 1st.

This cabin is above the Mt Baker Lodgings property office. Everyone is super friendly, so as long as you don’t mind downstairs neighbors, no big deal.

It has a rustic a-frame style that is fun, but with modern mini-split heating and cooling and a few other nice touches. The spiral stairs are super cool, but very narrow. Definitely make sure you can get up and down comfortably, as the bed is upstairs.

When the description says the internet is iffy, it’s basically like this. It seems to be DSL with a typically limited upload speed. So only so many people can be making WiFi calls and video calls at once, but there’s plenty of download speed for streaming shows. So just be aware, if you are hoping to make video calls, you are splitting a very small pipeline with the people downstairs trying to work. If you just wanna watch shows, it’s fine without cutting out.

My partner, dog, and I stayed in the A-Frame above the rental office and loved it! The cabin was incredibly cute, cozy, and very clean. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the living room was large, making it easy to spread out during our stay. Would recommend to anyone!

The place was exactly as described. It was clean and provided lots of extras like coffee, toiletries, and the games were a nice surprise to end our evenings with. We brought our dog with us and the backyard area was nice for him to run around. The staircase as cute as it was, is just something to keep in mind. The steps are narrow so if we were taking a large suitcase up it would be a little difficult. The place has everything you needed though.

Such a cute A-frame cabin with excellent amenities. There's backyard to take the dogs out on a leash, and they loved watching the street through the window. The staff was superfriendly and were very understanding of our dogs barking when other guests picked up/dropped off their keys downstairs.

It's surprisingly quiet for being above the rental office and on the Mt Baker Highway! Combined with being steps away from a coffee shop and convenience stores makes it a great homebase for exploring the mountains.

We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to visitors from out of town!

A cozy little cabin, just off the main highway, allows for a quiet stay with greay access to nearby hikes and outdoor recreation.

I was pleasantly surprised how peaceful and quiet our stay was, since the little apartment is above the lodging rental office and just off the main highway theiugh town.

If you are looking for a cozy, rustic cabin to truly experience Northern Washington, I recommend this one!

A great spot to stay to take advantage of the slopes nearby with the loveliest staff downstairs. The place was clean, the bed was comfy, and the kitchen had all the essentials so really couldn’t ask for more from a no frills stay.

Such a lovely spot. The apartment was clean and spacious yet cozy. It was easy to find and was central to explore all the restaurants and hikes in the area. We didn’t have any issues with light or noise. There is a really great coffee shop right next door, the bed was super comfy, and everyone at the front desk was super kind and communicative. There were a few board games and plenty of hikes and nice drives close by. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway
