Mt. Baker Rim #8 - Newly Remodeled Studio - A Perfect Romantic Getaway
This newly remodeled, ground-floor ensuite is a perfect getaway for two. Entering through the double doors, you'll find an American Leather sleeper sofa with a day bed, a flat-screen TV with Starlink, and a beautiful built-in gas fireplace. Walking into the kitchen, you'll find a cute dining table and all modern appliances, including a dishwasher, a stovetop and oven, an apartment-sized refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster, and a coffee maker. There is one full bath and a stackable washer/dryer. Outside is a gas BBQ and chairs for you to sit and drink your favorite beverage. Also, a parking spot is just for you! This vacation property will comfortably sleep up to 2-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:

​​​​​​​**The owners of this family vacation property occupy the main and top floors of their residence from time to time and may or may not be present during your stay. The en-suite features separate entrances aside from the main house area.

**Wi-Fi service is now available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure, as the service provider is dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE Wi-Fi SERVICE fails to function correctly.

**This cabin is a monitored family vacation home, not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to always treat this private residence with the utmost respect, as well as to be mindful of neighboring residences and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitee’s actions. They should be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. Guests seeking party house accommodations are advised to seek such accommodations via a different provider.

Cancellation Policy

For regular reservations, if Cancelation is received a minimum of 21 days before our Guest’s scheduled arrival date, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. If Cancelation is received twenty (20) through fifteen (15) days before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, the Advanced Reservation Payment shall be forfeited by the Guest unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld. The remaining balance shall be credited back to the Guest. Guest further acknowledges that, for regular reservations, if Cancelation is received fourteen (14) days or less before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, Guest shall forfeit all rental monies unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received before November 15th, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations beginning on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received on or after November 16th but before December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit the Advance Reservation Payment unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advance Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 1st, if Cancelation is received on or after December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit all rental monies, unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Sixty-Five Dollar ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) Cancelation Fee shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For legal and accounting purposes, the person placing the reservation must be the same as the credit/debit card holder. This person is considered to be the Guest. All other persons involved with the rental occasion are considered the Guest’s invitees. All reservations, cancelation, and damage policies will be discussed with the Guest, not the Guest’s invitees. This policy is in place to ensure your reservation's security and protect against potential fraud.

Deposit Policy

An Advance Reservation Payment equal to 50% of the total cost, including tax, is required to reserve a vacation property. For regular reservations, the remaining balance is due 14 days before the Guest’s scheduled arrival date and is automatically debited to the Guest’s credit/debit card on the scheduled due date. For holiday reservations commencing on December 15th through January 1st, the remaining balance is due in full and automatically debited to our Guest’s credit/debit card on December 1st.

My stay was exactly what I was hoping for. Going to the Mt. Baker area for the first time, I was not sure where to stay; however, this was one of the closest places available to Mt. Baker! It was approximately 30 mins from the mountain and about 5 minutes to local eateries. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt safe. This particular location is conveniently located across from the river area with spectacular views of white capped mountains in the background. I definitely could not have asked for a better stay. The hosts were very responsive and were even proactive in letting me know that a surrounding road was shut down and to avoid it when traveling into the area. I will definitely be staying here again and when I travel back to the area!

Our stay was fantastic! The home looked exactly like the listing photos, which we really appreciated. It was a pleasant surprise to find that the unit is located within a secure community, adding an extra layer of comfort to our trip.

​The space truly had everything we needed, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Although the rain forced us to cut our ski trip a bit short, we thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing day inside watching movies and recharging. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, it was a good stay. The place was extremely clean. Do note that the only bed here is a sofa bed in the living room and that living room is the main space. It was a little smaller than I thought it would be but it was kept up very well. If you would like a smaller place to stay that is modern and clean, I would recommend.

Wonderful experience for a weekend getaway. The check in was super quick and welcoming, lovely folks working there with lots of recommendations. The place itself was super clean and homey!! The fireplace was a wonderful experience and I throughly enjoyed it. Close to some great hikes and trails and everywhere you look is beautiful. Highly recommended bringing your own groceries if you have dietary restrictions and are not prepared to survive off pizza(not a lot of food options in the area. Also recommend bringing your own waters and produce, other than the food the experience was amazing and I can’t wait to go back!

The studio space was perfect for my finance and I. We didn’t spend ALOT of time hanging out in it, due to several day hikes we had scheduled, but it met all of our needs and provided a cozy space to come back to after a long day on the mountain. Would recommend to family and friends.
