Glacier Springs Cabin #12 - Newly Restyled - Ductless A/C and Heating - Plus EVC!
Under pride of new ownership, this newly restyled 2-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bath family vacation cabin features a covered front porch for sipping your favorite beverage and a brand new rear deck...complete with a brand new BBQ. The first-floor living area features new furnishings, a new heat and air conditioning(!) system, a freestanding gas fireplace, and a new flat screen Blue-Ray/monitor. The combination kitchen and dining area features newer appliances (including a dishwasher), a breakfast bar and separate dinette, and a laundry cubby with a stack washer/dryer. Also featured is one bedroom with a full-sized bed and one full bath. Ascending the staircase to the second floor reveals a loft sitting area with a workstation, one bedroom with a brand-new king-sized bed, and another full bath. Everything is fresh, with new paint throughout! This monitored, WiFi-equipped, pet-friendly (2-PET MAXIMUM, No Exceptions) family vacation cabin is perfect for singles, couples, and small families alike and will sleep up to 4 persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:

**WiFi service is now available to our area, and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure, as the service provider is in the process of dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE WiFi SERVICE fails to function properly.

**This cabin is a monitored family vacation home, and not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to treat this private residence with the utmost respect at all times, as well as to be mindful of neighboring residences, and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitees actions, and would be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. Guest seeking party house accommodations are advised to seek such accommodations via a different provider.

Cancellation Policy

For regular reservations, if Cancelation is received a minimum of 21 days before our Guest’s scheduled arrival date, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. If Cancelation is received twenty (20) through fifteen (15) days before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, the Advanced Reservation Payment shall be forfeited by the Guest unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld. The remaining balance shall be credited back to the Guest. Guest further acknowledges that, for regular reservations, if Cancelation is received fourteen (14) days or less before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, Guest shall forfeit all rental monies unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received before November 15th, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations beginning on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received on or after November 16th but before December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit the Advance Reservation Payment unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advance Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 1st, if Cancelation is received on or after December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit all rental monies, unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Sixty-Five Dollar ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) Cancelation Fee shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For legal and accounting purposes, the person placing the reservation must be the same as the credit/debit card holder. This person is considered to be the Guest. All other persons involved with the rental occasion are considered the Guest’s invitees. All reservations, cancelation, and damage policies will be discussed with the Guest, not the Guest’s invitees. This policy is in place to ensure your reservation's security and protect against potential fraud.

Deposit Policy

An Advance Reservation Payment equal to 50% of the total cost, including tax, is required to reserve a vacation property. For regular reservations, the remaining balance is due 14 days before the Guest’s scheduled arrival date and is automatically debited to the Guest’s credit/debit card on the scheduled due date. For holiday reservations commencing on December 15th through January 1st, the remaining balance is due in full and automatically debited to our Guest’s credit/debit card on December 1st.

We had a wonderful ski weekend here. The location is a perfect home base for mountain adventures. The cabin is very comfortable and well-equipped. The internet didn't work at all while we were there, which wasn't a problem for us, but could be if you're planning to work remotely or watch Netflix. The did have a quirky collection of DVDs which was a fun throwback. Overall, highly recommend if you're looking to disconnect and enjoy time in the Mt Baker wilderness.

Cabin was clean and comfortable. A few less labels and reminders would be nice though. Maybe some sharper knives and a cookie sheet and ice trays would help the cooking situation. Wish there was better WiFi though we def made do. Great that we were able to access the streaming services. Also wish there was a hot tub which would've been great after hiking for the day. The king bed and linens were super comfy and laying in bed , looking at nature, felt like we were in a treehouse all alone in the world - fabulous!

You may have it figured it all out before you even get here, but many persons do not. The property owners are trying to keep costs down, so a hot tub is not in the cards. We had a wonderful stay here! The location was perfect, we were so happy to be able to do a gorgeous walk to the river every morning. The cabin worked really well for two couples because each can have their own bedroom and bathroom on a floor. We also appreciated being able to bring a pet. We loved it, thank you!

This cottage is clean and cozy with everything that you need. It is nestled in a wood among other rental cottages, but you have plenty of privacy due to the trees. You can hear the nearby road and there was also some construction nearby when we visited. The instructions and communication were very clear and consistent before and during our stay. This is a great spot for two couples as there are two bathrooms and two separate bedrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs). I would recommend this spot as a great base for exploring the gorgeous North Cascade region.
