Glacier Springs Cabin #16 - This is a Great Cottage With an Outdoor Hot Tub!
Back on board after a recent refresh (including a new air conditioning system, fixtures, flooring, furnishings, and a covered extension to the right deck), this cute little single-story "Gingerbread Cottage" is located within a wooded area and features one bedroom with 1-king sized bed, a 3/4 bath with a double shower, a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, a laundry cubby with a stack washer/dryer, an open living/dining area, a DVD/monitor, and a freestanding gas fireplace. A new private outdoor hot tub and gas grill are outside the front door. This pet-friendly (2-pet Maximum, No Exceptions) and monitored family vacation property will sleep up to 2 persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:

**Wi-Fi service is now available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure, as the service provider is dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE Wi-Fi SERVICE fails to function correctly.

**This cabin is a monitored family vacation home, not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to always treat this private residence with the utmost respect, as well as to be mindful of neighboring residences and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitee’s actions. They should be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. Guests seeking party house accommodations are advised to seek such accommodations via a different provider.

Cancellation Policy

For regular reservations, if Cancelation is received a minimum of 21 days before our Guest’s scheduled arrival date, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. If Cancelation is received twenty (20) through fifteen (15) days before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, the Advanced Reservation Payment shall be forfeited by the Guest unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld. The remaining balance shall be credited back to the Guest. Guest further acknowledges that, for regular reservations, if Cancelation is received fourteen (14) days or less before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, Guest shall forfeit all rental monies unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received before November 15th, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations beginning on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received on or after November 16th but before December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit the Advance Reservation Payment unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advance Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 1st, if Cancelation is received on or after December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit all rental monies, unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Sixty-Five Dollar ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) Cancelation Fee shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For legal and accounting purposes, the person placing the reservation must be the same as the credit/debit card holder. This person is considered to be the Guest. All other persons involved with the rental occasion are considered the Guest’s invitees. All reservations, cancelation, and damage policies will be discussed with the Guest, not the Guest’s invitees. This policy is in place to ensure your reservation's security and protect against potential fraud.

Deposit Policy

An Advance Reservation Payment equal to 50% of the total cost, including tax, is required to reserve a vacation property. For regular reservations, the remaining balance is due 14 days before the Guest’s scheduled arrival date and is automatically debited to the Guest’s credit/debit card on the scheduled due date. For holiday reservations commencing on December 15th through January 1st, the remaining balance is due in full and automatically debited to our Guest’s credit/debit card on December 1st.

Location was great. Follow their instructions and you will get to the cabin easily. Hot tub was a wonderful addition to a long day’s hike. Small trail just behind the house to a quiet creek. Drive to mt baker is less than an hour. Convenient for skiing and hiking. They do provide salt, pepper and cooking oil now (contrary to what past reviews mentioned). A very peaceful cabin in the woods. Lovely!

It was a fantastic cabin in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. Very close to two great little towns, Glacier and Maple Falls. It was very clean and comfortable! I couldn’t have asked for more!

We stayed here for a mini honeymoon with our dog and absolutely loved it. The area is quiet and felt safe. There is even a nice trail to Canyon Creek within walking distance of our cabin to get views of Mt Baker. The neighborhood is very convenient to grocery stores, local restaurants and of course Mt Baker Ski Area and all the mountain attractions. The cabin was clean and check in after hours for us was a breeze. Would definitely recommend!

This little cabin is exactly as described and shown. We enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing in the evening after hiking. Easy to get to with the map and directions provided. The bed pillows weren’t that comfy- we flew to WA otherwise I’d have brought my own. Everything else was great.

A cozy cabin in the woods, 45 min from Mt. Baker with many outdoor activities.
The propane fireplace turned on/off automatically so didn't have to adjust the heat. Hot tub with decorative lights was great after a long day of snowshoeing.

Cute little cabin in the woods. Conveniently located between Maple Falls and Glacier. It served as a good base camp for our trip up to Baker. The hot tub was our favorite amenity.

This was a great stay with a lovely hot tub and cozy living space. You're right outside of the Mt. Baker area and very close to many of the outdoorsy options in the area. There are a few restaurants within 15-20 min and a full kitchen with everything you need (bring oil, spices, etc). The Mt. Baker Lodging group makes everything simple. The hot tub was hot hot and covered which is great for rainy days. Loved that the space was also dog friendly so we could bring our little buddy along. The unit had wifi which worked pretty well considering there is no phone service. Overall great stay!

Great place! Everything was clean and as advertised. The only thing to be aware of is that there’s no cell service or wifi! This is stated in the listing but I missed it since I booked when I was very busy.

This is a gem. Absolutely perfect. We spent the weekend up here to hike our brains out however, we found the cabin so cozy we barely left. Spent most of the time in the hot tub and could not be happier. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the cabin. It was the perfect location for us to visit family in Maple Falls. The hot tub was so nice to enjoy in the evenings and the cabin was cozy and perfect for our family of three.
