Mt. Baker Rim Cabin #17 - A Rustic Family Cabin with Modern Features!
This 2-story, 2+ bedroom, 1 ¾-bath 1500 sq ft rustic family cabin features lots of country charm with modern conveniences! Entering through the side entrance brings you into an open and airy living/dining area with a freestanding gas fireplace, a futon for sitting and relaxing, a flat-screen monitor with wi-fi, a separate kitchen with all new appliances including a dishwasher, one bedroom with 1-queen size bed, and one full bath. Ascending to the second floor, you’ll discover an open loft sleeping area with 2-twin-sized log beds, a partitioned ¾-bath, and one bedroom with 1-queen-sized bed, plus a laundry area with a washer and dryer. Outside the main floor is a covered country-style porch—perfect for sipping your favorite afternoon beverage, and a gas grill. This pet-friendly (2-PET MAXIMUM, No Exceptions) and monitored family vacation property says “cabins-in-the-mountains” and sleeps 6 (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

***Guests may recognize this cabin as our previous “Cabin #45”…an area favorite. The new owners have really stepped up to make their cabin an even more enjoyable experience with new kitchen appliances, new beds, and a great gas fireplace!***

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:

**Wi-Fi service is now available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure, as the service provider is dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are circumstances that are beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE Wi-Fi SERVICE fails to function correctly.

**This cabin is a monitored family vacation home, not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to always treat this private residence with the utmost respect, as well as to be mindful of neighboring residences and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitee’s actions. They should be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. Guests seeking party house accommodations are advised to seek such accommodations via a different provider.

Cancellation Policy

For regular reservations, if Cancelation is received a minimum of 21 days before our Guest’s scheduled arrival date, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. If Cancelation is received twenty (20) through fifteen (15) days before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, the Advanced Reservation Payment shall be forfeited by the Guest unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld. The remaining balance shall be credited back to the Guest. Guest further acknowledges that, for regular reservations, if Cancelation is received fourteen (14) days or less before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, Guest shall forfeit all rental monies unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received before November 15th, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations beginning on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received on or after November 16th but before December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit the Advance Reservation Payment unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advance Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 1st, if Cancelation is received on or after December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit all rental monies, unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Sixty-Five Dollar ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) Cancelation Fee shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For legal and accounting purposes, the person placing the reservation must be the same as the credit/debit card holder. This person is considered to be the Guest. All other persons involved with the rental occasion are considered the Guest’s invitees. All reservations, cancelation, and damage policies will be discussed with the Guest, not the Guest’s invitees. This policy is in place to ensure your reservation's security and protect against potential fraud.

Deposit Policy

An Advance Reservation Payment equal to 50% of the total cost, including tax, is required to reserve a vacation property. For regular reservations, the remaining balance is due 14 days before the Guest’s scheduled arrival date and is automatically debited to the Guest’s credit/debit card on the scheduled due date. For holiday reservations commencing on December 15th through January 1st, the remaining balance is due in full and automatically debited to our Guest’s credit/debit card on December 1st.

Un très bel endroit pour séjourner avec un très bel environnement.
Le chalet est très bien équipé.
Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas d’accès à la piscine autorisée pour les locataires. On se sent un peu “exclu” de la résidence.

Wonderful stay we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, just make sure you READ the listing lol. We skipped over a minor detail, no ac ?, being from Texas we LOVE our ACs. Luckily it was fairly cool outside that we were sweating to much. All the listing could use is a hot tub, another thing we missed in the listing ?, but totally our fault. It's a little smaller than expected but since only half our group ended up coming it was the perfect size. enjoyed reading the guest log ? The location is PERFECT all you can hear are birds, bugs and the creek, as long as the neighbors are quiet that is, which they were for us. Was pleasantly surprised to see full cutlery and cooking utensils and even some spices which the listed said there weren't any so they must've been left by previous guests. Local grocery prices are a little high so I recommend shopping for groceries before you get to town. Pick them up in Seattle, if you're passing through there, and just bring them over in an ice chest.

Very cozy cabin, stayed here with 8 of my friends comfortably. We had a lot of fun playing the board games and exploring the river close by. When you check in be sure to read instructions clearly and don’t use your phone’s GPS, it’ll take you to the wrong cabin. They provide a map with instructions, follow that.

Great spot very near to mount baker! It made a nice base of operations for a mini ski vacation with some friends.

Internet was spotty, beds were creaky, but you couldn’t beat the proximity to the mountain. Will definitely check out some of the other cabins from baker lodging

Our family stayed at the the Mt. Baker cabin for the weekend with our little dog. We had a fantastic time, it was an excellent place to escape the city and read/enjoy nature. The spot was also about as close to Mt. Baker ski resort as you can stay, which made for a fantastic commute in the morning for some skiing. As a bonus the beds were also really comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

It was my family’s first time in Washington and it is going to be the most memorable! The cabin was clean and had more than enough space and supplies for us. The area is very quiet and people are super nice! The creek near the pool was a nice to walk to in the morning time.

Great location! Surprised to find out this house is located in a gated, safe, and nice vacation neighborhood. Note that you need to pick up the keys at a place in Maple Falls.
