Glacier Springs Cabin #20 - An Elegant Country Home
You and your family will have a delightful time making lasting memories in this 2-story, 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath Mt. Baker country home! The first floor features an open, airy living room with vaulted ceilings, a corner group sofa, and a 60” flat screen monitor accentuated by a field stone encased gas fireplace. There’s also a fully equipped kitchen with beautiful cabinetry, countertops, and higher-end appliances, including a dishwasher. The dining area features a large dining table with generous seating. French doors lead to a full-length covered deck. There’s also a half bath and a separate mud room entrance for gear storage, accompanied by a full-size washer and dryer. Ascending the staircase to the second floor reveals one bedroom with 1-full sized bed and another bedroom with 1-queen sized bed, both flanked by 1-full bath, plus a primary bedroom with 1-queen sized bed and another full bath en-suite. This wifi equipped and monitored family vacation property will sleep up to 6-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:
**Wi-Fi service is now available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure, as the service provider is dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are circumstances that are beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE Wi-Fi SERVICE fails to function correctly.

**This cabin is a monitored family vacation home, not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to always treat this private residence with the utmost respect, as well as to be mindful of neighboring homes and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitee’s actions. They should be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. Guests seeking party house accommodations are advised to seek such accommodations via a different provider.

Cancellation Policy

For regular reservations, if Cancelation is received a minimum of 21 days before our Guest’s scheduled arrival date, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. If Cancelation is received twenty (20) through fifteen (15) days before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, the Advanced Reservation Payment shall be forfeited by the Guest unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld. The remaining balance shall be credited back to the Guest. Guest further acknowledges that, for regular reservations, if Cancelation is received fourteen (14) days or less before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, Guest shall forfeit all rental monies unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received before November 15th, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations beginning on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received on or after November 16th but before December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit the Advance Reservation Payment unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advance Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 1st, if Cancelation is received on or after December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit all rental monies, unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Sixty-Five Dollar ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) Cancelation Fee shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For legal and accounting purposes, the person placing the reservation must be the same as the credit/debit card holder. This person is considered to be the Guest. All other persons involved with the rental occasion are considered the Guest’s invitees. All reservations, cancelation, and damage policies will be discussed with the Guest, not the Guest’s invitees. This policy is in place to ensure your reservation's security and protect against potential fraud.

Deposit Policy

An Advance Reservation Payment equal to 50% of the total cost, including tax, is required to reserve a vacation property. For regular reservations, the remaining balance is due 14 days before the Guest’s scheduled arrival date and is automatically debited to the Guest’s credit/debit card on the scheduled due date. For holiday reservations commencing on December 15th through January 1st, the remaining balance is due in full and automatically debited to our Guest’s credit/debit card on December 1st.

The cabin worked great for us. Convenient for hiking or skiing. It’s true, you need to bring all the essentials. But we cooked all our own meals and we had plenty of dishes, utensils and doodads to keep six people happy. Comfortable, clean and charming, and check in process was a breeze.

Loved our stay, it was the perfect location. There is a small walking trail next to the river right near the house which was fun to explore. The beds were also SO comfortable-would love to come back and stay here!

This cabin is conveniently located and well equipped for a family or friend group looking for a cozy getaway. I would note from our experience that there is a considerable amount of road noise early in the morning hours from people heading up the mountain, but he nearby river helped dull it a bit.

Otherwise, this was a perfect spot for our family vacation. Beautiful property, plenty of parking, well equipped kitchen, a very relaxing and spacious living room area, laundry facilities—didn’t need much more. We would definitely consider staying here next time we heading up to Mt. Baker.

Yes, with the windows open, you can hear some road noise from about 8:00am to 10:00am as folks head up to the mountain, and again at about 4:00pm to 6:00pm while folks are heading back home. Just think; you don't have to do that cause you're already almost there...music to your ears! More to the point; in a cabin that is designed to accommodate a maximum of 6-persons, you actually had six vehicles taking up the driveway and blocking part of the street, When called out, you stated that some of the vehicles were just friends stopping by to visit, but according to upset neighbors those "friend's" vehicles were staying overnight. We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous cabin in the woods. As some have commented, the cabin is near the road, but it was fairly quiet while we were there (late August). We loved the grand space of the living room, plentiful seating, the gracious large dining table, lovely back deck, and great bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The downstairs half bath and mud room were nice bonuses too. The location was great--near some great trails.

The Good:
The space is fantastic. The cabin ambience is wonderful. It is very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There is a nice washer/dryer and full kitchen as well.

It is very convenient to Mt. Baker ski area as well and the check in process is easy.

Sub-optimal:
This particular cabin is rather close to mt baker highway, so you will hear cars with the windows open. Also, I would recommend bring your own personal hygiene products and you’ll need a bit of extra supplies if you’re planning on cooking.
