Snowline Cabin #51 - An Executive Style Family Cabin That Sleeps-8!
This beautiful 3-story, 3-bedroom, 2-bath executive family vacation home includes incredible natural lighting! The 1st floor is an ad-hoc games room that includes 1 set of standard-sized bunk beds and a separate laundry room with a full-size washer/dryer. The main floor features a great open living/dining area with hardwood floors, a vaulted ceiling, and a freestanding gas fireplace. A separate fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, is located just off of the dining area, and one bedroom with 1-queen-sized bed, 1-full bath, and a great outdoor deck round out the main floor. The 3rd floor features a spacious primary bedroom with 1-queen-sized bed, another bedroom with 1-full-sized bed, and 1-full bath. This Wi-Fi-equipped, monitored family vacation property will sleep up to 8 persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:
**Wi-Fi service is now available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. The service is currently subject to failure. Intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control. No refunds are provided if the FREE Wi-Fi SERVICE fails to function correctly.

**This cabin is a monitored family vacation home, not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to always treat this private residence with the utmost respect, as well as to be mindful of neighboring residences and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitee’s actions. They should be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. Guests seeking party house accommodations are advised to seek such accommodations via a different provider.

Cancellation Policy

For regular reservations, if Cancelation is received a minimum of 21 days before our Guest’s scheduled arrival date, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. If Cancelation is received twenty (20) through fifteen (15) days before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, the Advanced Reservation Payment shall be forfeited by the Guest unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld. The remaining balance shall be credited back to the Guest. Guest further acknowledges that, for regular reservations, if Cancelation is received fourteen (14) days or less before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, Guest shall forfeit all rental monies unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received before November 15th, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations beginning on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received on or after November 16th but before December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit the Advance Reservation Payment unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advance Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 1st, if Cancelation is received on or after December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit all rental monies, unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Sixty-Five Dollar ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) Cancelation Fee shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For legal and accounting purposes, the person placing the reservation must be the same as the credit/debit card holder. This person is considered to be the Guest. All other persons involved with the rental occasion are considered the Guest’s invitees. All reservations, cancelation, and damage policies will be discussed with the Guest, not the Guest’s invitees. This policy is in place to ensure your reservation's security and protect against potential fraud.

Deposit Policy

An Advance Reservation Payment equal to 50% of the total cost, including tax, is required to reserve a vacation property. For regular reservations, the remaining balance is due 14 days before the Guest’s scheduled arrival date and is automatically debited to the Guest’s credit/debit card on the scheduled due date. For holiday reservations commencing on December 15th through January 1st, the remaining balance is due in full and automatically debited to our Guest’s credit/debit card on December 1st.

This house was just as described. The rules for taking care of the property were reasonable given that this is someone's private property. I can even understand why the normal community residents do not want non-members and renters using the community amenities. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils of every kind and everything reasonably needed other than the food that guests need to bring. I was told the owner is updating things bit by bit. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would consider this house again, or a similar one.

This rental home was in a great location for a weekend ski trip to Mount Baker with friends! The unit was large and very spacious, and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking pots, pans, and utensils needed to feed a large group. As the listings states, there’s no Wi-Fi, and none of us had cell service. If you’re coming in different cars, make sure you coordinate who is going to pick up the keys at the rental office and what time you want to meet at the rental home since it is in a gated community. Mount Baker Lodging did a great job at promptly communicating with us and answering all our questions. Would recommend this unit for those who are looking for a rental home near Mount Baker!

The lodge was absolutely beautiful and had a lot of charm. Loved the natural lights, and the beds were very comfortable. It was spacious and I can recommend this place to other guests who are looking for a quiet and comfortable lodge to stay in.
There was no wifi or cell service but if your group can stay together the whole time, you won't have any issues!

I gave the place a 5 star review because the people we interacted with were awesome, you can't really beat the location with Baker right there, and it checked the most important box. We were looking for a way to alleviate pandemic induced cabin fever and have a fun time as a family.. so naturally we headed to a, well, cabin. We had hours of fun playing board games, snowshoeing, and playing with the ping pong table. I wanted to point out a few things of concern though that people have a right to know about ahead of time and address some of your other reviews:
- Some people complained about a huge to-do list on check out day. That seemed more specific to each cabin and I'd check with the rental agency before getting too bent out of shape. It really wasn't that much stuff. We had a time crunch leaving, but for another reason addressed below (see pans).
- Some of the carpets and furniture had very visible stains on them. This is the least important part of the review, but I mean come on. Some were clearly vomit stains. This seems like an odd way to let such a beautiful cabin seem a touch shabby when the cost of a single weekend's stay would probably cover replacement.
- Some people said it got cold. I've never experienced a gas stove that could put out heat like that one. At one point we made the mistake of turning that on AND adjusting the heat. I had to go outside until it cooled off a bit inside. The downstairs was cooler, but the space heater was more than ample. Ping pong also warms you up a surprising amount.
- The pans were terrifying. This may be a personal pet peeve of mine, but your old college roommates nonstick pans from the 90s that look like a cheese grater was taken to them is completely unacceptable. Again, a couple hundred bucks on some steel or cast iron pans and your guests will be able to cook without feeling like they are getting cancer. Our time crunch arose when I had to cook a full breakfast in the one non-guttered pot.
- Which brings me to the stove. It is a gas stove that works decently in a rental, which is a rarity. My concern arose when I went to turn the hood vent fan on as directed by the host. The knob just spun and when I looked up into the hood to see what was happening, saw a lot of exposed wiring. I'm no expert on the subject, but I'm pretty sure combustible gas + exposed wiring eventually leads to BOOM.
- Which brings me to the sockets. Most of the sockets were so worn out that plugs would fall out of them. I think this is more of a convenience issue than safety (again I'm not an electrician), but seemed a little sketchy and made it tricky to set up a baby monitor.

To recap: We had an awesome weekend and the place deserves 5 stars. I seldom write reviews and definitely not this detailed, but I care about this place. I grew up in this area and want to bring my children here throughout the years. You'll be warm. You'll have a blast. You won't work too hard. Ignore the stains.. it was just people having fun like you. But please please please address the wiring/safety concerns.

We had a great weekend stay here! It's in a great location close to Mt Baker so an easy drive to go skiing. It's also a short walk to a nearby bar/restaurant called Chair 9. We enjoyed playing ping pong downstairs as well!

This was a great house for two families on a ski weekend at Baker. The house was spacious and comfortable. The game room was a fun for the kids, and plenty warm for sleeping. The house is in a very nice gated community. There's a market for the basics just down the road. As stated, no cell service or wifi, which turned out to be great for our family.
