Mt. Baker Rim Cabin #61 - The Winchester Peak Chalet!
This delightful 1-story, 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin is absolutely perfect for your family’s vacation. Upon entering through the front door, you’ll discover an open and airy kitchen, dining, and living area with stainless steel appliances, including a Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer, a large dining table with four chairs, a breakfast bar with two bar stools, and a comfy living space accompanied by a free-standing gas fireplace to cozy up to, and a flat-screen monitor with a Blu Ray player. Proceeding down the hallway, you’ll discover one bedroom with 1-queen sized bed, a ¾-bath with a stack washer and dryer, a second bedroom…also with 1-queen sized bed a third primary bedroom with 1-full sized bed and a ½-bath. A tankless water heater serves the cabin with an endless hot water supply. Just outside the front door, you’ll find a gas grill, and on the side yard, the cabin has its own private hot tub. This pet-friendly (2 Pet Maximum, No Exceptions), Wi-Fi equipped, and monitored family vacation property will sleep up to 6 persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:

**Wi-Fi service is now available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure, as the service provider is dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are circumstances beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE Wi-Fi SERVICE fails to function correctly.

**This condo is a monitored family vacation home, not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to always treat this private residence with the utmost respect, as well as to be mindful of neighboring homes and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitee’s actions. They should be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. Guests seeking party house accommodations are advised to seek such accommodations via a different provider.

Cancellation Policy

For regular reservations, if Cancelation is received a minimum of 21 days before our Guest’s scheduled arrival date, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. If Cancelation is received twenty (20) through fifteen (15) days before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, the Advanced Reservation Payment shall be forfeited by the Guest unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld. The remaining balance shall be credited back to the Guest. Guest further acknowledges that, for regular reservations, if Cancelation is received fourteen (14) days or less before our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, Guest shall forfeit all rental monies unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received before November 15th, a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advanced Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations beginning on or after December 15th through January 3rd, if Cancelation is received on or after November 16th but before December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit the Advance Reservation Payment unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Cancelation Fee in the amount of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) shall be withheld from the Advance Reservation Payment. The remaining money shall be credited to the guest. For holiday reservations commencing on or after December 15th through January 1st, if Cancelation is received on or after December 1st, the Guest shall forfeit all rental monies, unless the vacation property can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case a Sixty-Five Dollar ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) Cancelation Fee shall be withheld from the rental monies. The remaining funds shall be credited back to the Guest.
For legal and accounting purposes, the person placing the reservation must be the same as the credit/debit card holder. This person is considered to be the Guest. All other persons involved with the rental occasion are considered the Guest’s invitees. All reservations, cancelation, and damage policies will be discussed with the Guest, not the Guest’s invitees. This policy is in place to ensure your reservation's security and protect against potential fraud.

Deposit Policy

An Advance Reservation Payment equal to 50% of the total cost, including tax, is required to reserve a vacation property. For regular reservations, the remaining balance is due 14 days before the Guest’s scheduled arrival date and is automatically debited to the Guest’s credit/debit card on the scheduled due date. For holiday reservations commencing on December 15th through January 1st, the remaining balance is due in full and automatically debited to our Guest’s credit/debit card on December 1st.

We had a wonderful stay at Mt. Baker Rim Cabin #61! House and amenities were comfortable and as described. The cabin does not have air conditioning, but stayed relatively cool during 90+ degree weather! We would be happy to stay at this location again. Thank you to the Mt. Baker Lodging team!

Comfortable cabin and great location! Everything is clean and all necessities are there. The dryer was broken during our stay but we didn’t need one anyways. Hot tub was ready to use the moment we checked-in. Working with Mt Baker Lodging was super easy and they are very responsive. Note: there’s no cell service up there. The cabin does have perfect WiFi to make calls as needed.

Great cabin, great neighborhood, and TONS of incredible exploring nearby!! The hot tub in the rain was also pretty surreal. Hope to visit again soon!
