Mt. Baker Lodging has been in business serving the needs of the Mt. Baker area for over twenty-five years…that’s about as long as all of our competitors…combined! We lie and work here…not in Bellingham, Lynden, Seattle, or other locations. In short, we know what works and what doesn’t. We have a firm grip on our local market and a long-standing tradition of providing what we believe to be the best service that the Mt. Baker area has to offer…bar none!
No Conflict of Interest
Mt. Baker Lodging does not own any of the properties it represents, therefore no conflicts of interest. All Mt. Baker Lodging clients receive an equal and impartial representation of their vacation rental investment to prospective Guests.
Licensed, Bonded, and Insured
Mt. Baker Lodging carries general and professional liability insurance, including coverage of errors and omissions (E&O). In addition, all of our housekeepers are both bonded and additionally insured. Most others don’t carry these types of coverage. Although expensive, we feel it is necessary to provide our clients with the best possible service that the Mt. Baker area offers. This gives our clients peace of mind knowing their interests are adequately sought after.
Mt. Baker Lodging inspects all properties before Guest arrival to ensure that central systems are in good working order. During the summer months, insects can be a problem… nothing to do with cleanliness… just a function of being in the woods. Of course, the Guests don’t want to find carpenter ants on the floor or spiders in the sinks, so our pre-inspection team takes care of these “issues” before the Guests arrive. During the winter, the heat is turned up a bit, and an outside light is turned on, if necessary, to ready the property for Guest arrival. It’s the little touches that assist our clients and provide a sense of warmth that our Guests enjoy, remember… and return!
Privately and Individually Owned:
This means that Mt. Baker Lodging does not own any of the vacation properties that it represents, nor does it provide any of the furnishings, decorations, and accompaniments that are included as a part of the rental. All furnishings, including indoor, outdoor, and recreational appliances, amenities, and accompaniments (such as cookware and linens) are provided by Mt. Baker Lodging’s Clients (the property owners), and in some instances, the resort-recreational developments in which the properties are located. Although Mt. Baker Lodging strives to offer only well-maintained vacation properties in good, clean, and sanitary condition, all properties are rented as-is, where-is, and no refunds will be issued based upon our Guest’s dissatisfaction with furnishings, accompaniments, or other similar criteria.
